What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in starts at 3:00 p.m. and check-out ends at 10:00 a.m.

Can I receive a VAT invoice for my stay?

Yes, provided that you give us the invoicing request and billing details when booking or before the first partial payment. The online booking system includes an option to add invoice details.

Is a deposit required when booking?

Yes. An initial payment is required to guarantee the booking. Depending on the start date, it may be treated as payment, an advance payment or a deposit. The remaining amount is paid after arrival. We will confirm the exact terms when you book.

Which payment methods are accepted?

We mainly accept bank transfer and card payments. BLIK by phone is also available. Our online booking system also accepts Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Is the price per cottage or per person?

The price applies to the entire cottage and includes a specified number of guests. An additional charge may apply for extra guests.

Are weekend stays more expensive?

Yes. Weekend stays are usually more expensive than weekday stays because demand is higher. The best prices are usually available for stays from Sunday to Friday.

How much does a cottage cost over New Year’s Eve?

New Year’s Eve is the most popular period of the year, so prices are set individually and may be higher than standard rates. If you are planning a stay during this period, contact us as early as possible to receive the current offer.

Can the entire guesthouse be rented exclusively?

Yes. We accept group bookings for the entire guesthouse, with eight rooms for one to five people and a total capacity of up to 27 guests. If the guesthouse does not have enough capacity, you can additionally book one to four Górskie Domki cottages or one to two STARY MŁYN apartments.

Can a wedding ceremony and reception be organised at the property?

Yes. We have already hosted several weddings and receptions. Please contact us directly for details.

Accommodation

How many people can stay in a cottage?

A cottage is prepared for up to nine guests.

Is early check-in possible?

We make cottages and rooms available as early as possible. The standard check-in time is 3:00 p.m., although rooms and cottages are often ready earlier. Even if your cottage or room is not ready yet, you may leave your car with us and wait while the accommodation is being prepared.

Which accommodation options are available?

Guests can choose guesthouse rooms for two to five people, comfortable Górskie Domki cottages for up to nine guests with a private kitchen and bathroom, and Stary Młyn apartments for up to ten guests.

Are extra beds and cots available?

Yes. Some rooms offer full-size extra beds measuring 90 × 200 cm. We can also provide a cot, toilet-seat insert, baby bath and step stool for children. Please let us know in advance when booking.

Is internet available in the rooms and cottages?

Yes. All rooms and cottages have free high-speed Wi‑Fi over a fibre connection.

Are towels and bed linen provided?

Yes. Cottages and rooms are prepared to hotel standard and include towels, bed linen and pool towels.

What equipment is included in the rooms?

The rooms include a private bathroom with towels and a hairdryer, a Smart LED TV with an active Netflix app, a mini fridge, a kettle with tea, bed linen, pool towels and a toiletries set.

What equipment is included in the cottages?

The cottages include a bathroom with a large shower, hairdryer, towels, bed linen, clothes-drying rack and loungers. The fully equipped kitchen includes dishwasher tablets, washing-up liquid, liquid soap, a hob, pots, plates, glasses, mugs, an espresso machine, moka pot, filter coffee machine, juicer, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. There is also a Smart LED TV with an active Netflix app, YouTube and other applications. The living room also has a real wood-burning fireplace. Outside, each cottage has its own garden area with a terrace, outdoor furniture and a fixed barbecue. A vacuum cleaner and other cleaning accessories are also provided.

Is the cottage heated?

Each cottage is heated, with separate temperature control for every room using electronic thermostats.

Are there facilities for guests with disabilities?

Because of the stairs, the guesthouse is not fully accessible. However, the ground floor has an accessible apartment for up to five guests, comprising two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The cottages are also suitable for guests with reduced mobility, with only a small number of low thresholds.

Amenities and attractions

Which amenities does the guesthouse offer?

Amenities include a seasonal swimming pool, a hot tub available on request for an additional fee, a stream-view sauna available on request for an additional fee, a large barbecue and bonfire shelter, a fire pit, volleyball court, extensive green areas, hammocks and loungers. The guesthouse also offers winter and summer terraces for larger gatherings, a fireplace room, children’s playroom and dining room.

How much do the hot tub and sauna cost?

The hot tub and sauna are prepared exclusively for each group on request. The hot tub costs PLN 250 and the sauna PLN 100, regardless of the number of guests or the duration of use during the session. Because approximately three tonnes of water must be heated to 38–40°C, advance notice is required so the hot tub can be ready at around 6:00 pm.

Can guests barbecue on site?

Yes. Barbecue areas and a covered barbecue shelter with a fire pit are available. Each cottage has its own barbecue.

Is breakfast included for guesthouse guests?

Breakfast is available at an additional charge and is served as a buffet. Breakfast time can be arranged according to guests’ preferences.

Can breakfast be ordered for the cottages?

Breakfast can be ordered for cottage guests. It is normally served as a buffet in the guesthouse next to the cottages. For a small additional fee, breakfast can also be delivered directly to the cottage in a wicker basket.

Are pets welcome?

Pets are welcome in the Górskie Domki cottages and STARY MŁYN apartments at no extra charge. In the guesthouse, pets up to 12 kg are welcome unless the entire property is rented exclusively, in which case there is no weight limit.

What coffee-making equipment is available in the cottage?

There are three ways to make coffee: an espresso machine, a filter coffee machine and a moka pot. Ground coffee is required for all three.

Can a bonfire be arranged?

Yes. Let our staff know and we will prepare a suitable amount of cut firewood. There is no additional charge for the bonfire.

Is there a charge for using the pool?

No. There is no additional charge for using the pool.

Location and directions

Where is BORSZÓWKA Resort located?

The property is located in Biała Dolina, one of the most beautiful parts of Szklarska Poręba, 2.1 km from the town centre. Major hiking trails and ski lifts are nearby, and the centre is about five minutes away by car or longer on foot.

Is guest parking available?

Yes. We have a large car park with space for every guest. Parking is free of charge.

How far is the guesthouse from the town’s main attractions?

The centre of Szklarska Poręba is about a five-minute drive away. Hiking trails, cycling routes and ski lifts are nearby.

Do I need snow chains in winter?

The property is reached by paved roads with a relatively gentle gradient, which are prioritised for snow clearing in winter. Snow chains are therefore not usually necessary, although it is always sensible to carry chains for at least two wheels when driving in the mountains in winter.

Families with children

Is the guesthouse suitable for families with children?

Yes. Children have access to a large playground with a slide, swings and activity equipment, an indoor playroom, volleyball court, a room for noisier games and extensive green areas. Our shallow stream is also a popular attraction, with water generally reaching no higher than children’s knees.

Other information

Can guests use a kitchen?

The Górskie Domki cottages and Stary Młyn apartments have fully equipped kitchens. Guesthouse rooms include a kettle, mini fridge and access to crockery.

Are group events or team-building stays possible?

Yes. Team-building events or meetings can be arranged on request in the fireplace room or winter terrace.

What should I bring for my stay?

We recommend bringing swimwear for the pool and hot tub, sports shoes, groceries for self-catering in the cottages and a good mood for relaxing in nature.
